About the event
Kings Court will follow a “winner stays” format designed to let the level of play organize itself naturally. Teams form up and challenge whichever court they believe they can compete on. After each game, the winning team stays to defend the court and the losing team rotates off.
Over time, Court 1 becomes the highest level of play, Court 2 the next most competitive, Court 3 more intermediate, and so on. If a lower-level team wants to test themselves on a higher court, they are welcome to do so. If they are not quite ready for that level, the format naturally moves them to a better fit.
The goal is to create a competitive environment that grows organically, allowing players to push themselves while still finding the right level of play without micromanaging matchups.
